CEO

Stephen Bollinger
Stephen Bollinger brings a very diverse background to the company with respect to the medical device and biologic market place. He has held multiple leadership positions from Founder, President, and Chief Operations Officer, of early stage companies, to a broad spectrum of roles includes, but not limited to: global operations, marketing, product management and sales. He also is an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz School of Business. Mr. Bollinger currently holds seven medical patents, with multiple pending. He received his M.B.A. from Oklahoma City University and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy West Point with a B.S. in mechanical engineering.
Finance and Accounting

Kaia Sipple, CPA
Kaia Sipple’s background includes leadership roles in finance, accounting and product management. Her medical device industry background includes Medrad, a two-time Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award winner that is now a division of Bayer HealthCare, and Suros Surgical Systems, a successful startup that is now a division of Hologic, Inc., which specializes in women’s health. Kaia has a B.A. from the College of Wooster and an M.S. in Management from the Krannert School at Purdue University.

Shari Edwards
Shari Edwards has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management for Point Park College. She brings over 18 years of Corporate Accounting experience from ABB Inc. and other Pittsburgh retail and manufacturing companies, adding depth to the Rinovum family as the company grows and business processes mature.
Sales and Marketing

Jeff Bartlett
Jeff has over 20 years of sales and sales management experience working with national retailers across multiple channels. He has a background of working with large established manufacturers as well as early stage companies, including fitness tracking pioneer Bodymedia ( acquired by Jawbone). He leads our sales team in bringing the innovative Rinovum products to both domestic and international retailers. He has a BS degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Brianna Clements
Brianna has a background in marketing and sales. Brianna leads our marketing and sales departments, while continuously driving business development. She plays an active role in driving our consumer dialogue through our marketing channels. Brianna’s educational background includes a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh and a M.B.A. from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business in Marketing & Strategy.

Joyceanne Rylander
Joyceanne’s career has always involved customer service and client relations. Customer Service is an integral part of Rinovum, as feedback allows us to improve customer service and ensure that quality and service always exceed the customers’ expectations. She had previously worked as a Financial Assistant and an Office Administrator. Giving back to the community has always been an important part of Joyceanne’s life, she is active with the Westmoreland Council Boy Scouts of America with her son, Kyle and husband, David.
Engineering, Regulatory and Quality

Aldo Kremmel
Aldo brings with him an extensive background in plastics part design, processes, tooling, material, metrology and assembly techniques. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics Engineering Technology and a Medical Plastics Certification from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. Aldo's previous experience in the industry has been very diverse including automotive, consumer, and medical applications. He has held various roles and assumed numerous responsibilities, such as Program/Project Management, Design Engineering, Process Engineering, and Engineering Management.

Shaylee Masilunas, RAC
Director of Regulatory, Clinical, and Quality Affairs
Shaylee brings over 10 years of experience in the realm of life and health sciences while working in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Shaylee began her career working in product development and clinical affairs roles for Cook MyoSite, Inc., a cellular therapy company in Pittsburgh PA. She began her career in regulatory and quality at Philips Respironics, a global leader in sleep and respiratory care solutions. Shaylee has a passion for helping people enhance their quality of life by bringing safe and effective products to market. Shaylee holds a B.S. in Biology from Penn State Behrend and an M.S. in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health.

Holly Whitelam
Clinical Development and Quality Manager
Holly brings to the team her background in clinical research and bioengineering. Her B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh introduced her to the world of medical devices, but working in direct patient care gave her a true understanding of patient needs. She brings her experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator to drive clinical evaluations for new product development. Working as an Artificial Heart Bioengineer has given her unique insight into the usability of medical devices in both clinical and take-home settings, which has contributed to the company’s design and development goals.
